Mostly dreadful place.
Negatives:
1) The girl manning the counter was obnoxious.
2) No Wi-Fi.
3) Toilet facilities were ridiculous.
4) Coffee was spilled all over my saucer and there was no spoon.
Positives:
1) Downstairs area was nice and big.
2) Rest of staff were ok
3) Place was quite clean.
I would normally rate a place like this higher, but bad service is the number one offence in my book. -

Got a couple hot chocolates to take away (cheaper than eating in). We also got a slice of polenta lemon cake- a little dry, but I've definitely had worse. The hot chocolate was made from freshly ground chocolate and it was very thick- almost like pudding.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but the staff here is rude. And the food, well, my kid makes a better grilled cheese. Wish I would've checked Yelp before grabbing a bite before the show.

The woman who served us was incredibly rude. We went to meet a friend quickly and the waitress made us feel incredibly unwelcome. I understand where she's coming from when she wanted the people at our table to order something, but I will not be back here ever again to try the food. Waste of time and money and if you feel like having someone nice serve you, this isn't the place. Suck my Dickens

We needed a quick bite to eat before the theatre started and most other places around were restaurants so would have taken too long. The cafe has good curb appeal and they have a lot of seating (more downstairs). I had the jacket potato with curry chicken and cheese and we also had an Ocean Spray pizza (tuna, red onion & sweet corn). Jacket potato came with a small side salad and the curry chicken was nice. Pizza was a little heavy on the tuna, but overall okay for a pizza at a cafe. Staff were a bit hard to understand but friendly. Was a bit overpriced for what you got but hey it's central London and right in the theatre district!
